Remembering Gabriel Fernandez
Gabriel Fernandez was an 8-year-old boy from Palmdale, California, whose life was tragically cut short in 2013 due to ongoing abuse and systemic failure. Despite numerous reports made to Child Protective Services, he received no timely help. Gabriel’s story has since become a national symbol for reform in child welfare, justice, and media ethics.
This site honors his legacy through care-centered storytelling and advocacy for change. We aim to educate, inspire reform, and prevent future tragedies.
